3DReid - On Site Support

We were approached by 3DReid to help provide regular technical support to their Manchester office.

This required us to work with the group's existing IT team, ensuring that group wide standards were adhered to, while also taking a proactive and positive approach to the IT needs of the Manchester office.

While initially appointed on a 3 month contract, we have been retained on an ongoing basis by 3DReid to provide an weekly presence at their Manchester office.

This has been extended to also provide remote and telephone support to other offices and other members of the IT department on an as needed basis.

While involved with 3DReid we have contributed not only on a strategic level, but have also undertaken a detailed software audit, installed, set up and commissioned a new server and communications rack, and have undertaken ongoing support of varying degrees of complexity. This has including standard PC support and more complex matters such as Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2000 and SQL Server 2005.

3DReid are an amalgamation of two very well know and respected national firms of Architects, 3D Architects (predominantly based in England) and Reid Architects of Scotland.
